Wedding Date on Sep 14, 2019

Ashley was a sorority sister with Jason's sister. Jason's sister suggested Ashley meet Jason. Ashley said if Jason asked her on a date, she would be happy to give it a "shot". So Jason mustered the courage to ask Ashley and luckily she said yes! They decided to meet on a blind date at Conch Republic. It was only supposed to be dinner...but, they ended up sharing, dessert, wine, and laughs until the sun went down! Jason proposed at the Beach in Nags Head, North Carolina during a tropical storm. Jason had planned out a beach proposal with friends and family coming down from Virginia. They were supposed to lay rose petals on the beach in the shape of a heart, however, the storm had other ideas. Due to the high winds, he and friends set up a beautiful surprise in a gazebo over looking the ocean. It had a stairway with candles covered in wine glasses leading to the gazebo that had rose petals for a customized bootle of wine that had a proposal written on it to Ashley. Once Ashley realized what she was reading Jason fell to one knee and asked Ashley to marry him. Luckily, to everyone involved, Ashley said yes! Fast forward to their mountain wedding in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The mountains are a common love that they each share. Hiking and camping together is always on their list of adventures. They "tied the knot" with sprawling mountains and a breathtaking sky as their backdrop!
