Wedding Date on Jun 23, 2018

Austin and Hannah grew up 10 minutes away from one another in Georgia but didn’t meet until college when they worked at a summer camp in North Carolina together. They spent all summer becoming best friends and eventually realizing we had feelings for each other. Austin was going to school in Kentucky and Hannah had just gone back to school after Christmas break (or so she thought). The next day her brother and sister-in-law asked her to go on a hike with them and she thought nothing of it. They got to the top right as the sun was setting and they rounded a corner to see a guy standing on a blanket and thought she was about to ruin someone else’s proposal before she realized it was her own. Austin was down on one knee with the most beautiful sunset behind him. Their wedding was special because of all of the details that went into it and the hard work of our family, friends, and vendors. Her favorite detail was the lottery tickets under everyone’s dinner plates as our wedding favor. Her great grandmother wasn’t able to make it to their wedding but after special family dinners she would always have lottery tickets under our plates and that was just one way to remember her there.
