From The Bride: Carly and Johnny first met at Fairview Lake Summer Camp in 2005 as campers. The two lost touch for five years but rekindled their flame in 2010 when they both returned to camp as camp counselors. Johnny went above and beyond all expectations for his romantic proposal. Johnny surprised Carly by sending her off to a Spa for a massage and manicure. When she was finished Carly was surprised with a romantic letter and gifts. The letter told her to change into the gifts (a dress, shoes and necklace) and meet him at the condo. One of their best friends met her there and escorted her to the beach were she was greeted at the boardwalk by navy sailors in their dress whites, a candle lit walk way and rose petals. Once at the end of the board walk to the beach Johnny appeared in the sand accompanied by a guitar player next to “Marry Me?” in the sand. After a perfect sunset on the beach the couple had a wonderful dinner at Ruth Chris and called friends and family spreading the good news.
