Christina and John are a classic, romantic tale of high school sweet hearts. They grew up in the same town, went to the same pre-school, elementary, middle school and high school, but became friends in middle school while they were both on the Stage Crew for their middle school play. After a year being close friends, the two started dating their sophomore year, back in 2005. After over a decade of dating, John had planned a sunrise hot air balloon ride, but after a surprise work trip to South Africa, scheduling chaos and Hurricane Matthew - John had to improvise. He put together a "picnic" (brownies and champagne) and popped the question at the top of Bear Mountain, along the Hudson River. To represent their love of travel and food, Christina and John's wedding weekend was a stunning, classic affair with a modern, tropical twist decorated in lush greens, custom neon signs, epic food and breathtaking views of Manhattan.
