From The Bride: Dan and I met in the beginning of 2015 when we were both working in downtown Denver at a digital marketing agency. Dan had just started a job in the sales department and he asked me for the door code one day when we were walking in the office by one another. We would see each other randomly through the weeks in the break room or in company-wide meetings. Each time we chatted casually, and I tried to play it cool, but I was dying to ask him out. Dan had just moved to Denver from Houston, so he did not have any close family or friends nearby. When I heard it was his birthday I asked him out for a drink to celebrate. We ended up spending most of the night gallivanting around Denver, enjoying different restaurants and bars, it was the best first date either of us had ever had. That night he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I said, "no!" I couldn't believe how strongly I felt about this man and how quickly he wanted to move, so naturally I was slightly scared. I played hard to get for about...five days, and then said yes, I would be his girlfriend! Dan proposed over Thanksgiving 2015 on Santa Rosa beach in 30A, Florida. A few weeks later Dan moved to Doha, Qatar for an apprenticeship, so we spent the first few months of our engagement across the world from one another. It was extremely difficult, but made our engagement that much sweeter upon his return. We were married on September 30, 2016 in my hometown of Littleton, Colorado, and it was a joyous and magical day. We were set on having a videographer for our wedding to capture every moment, and Canvas & Light delivered the best wedding video we ever could have imagined. We love reliving that day through our amazing wedding video!
