Hannah + Chris || Beyond the wall Why Do You Want to Capture Your Wedding on Video?: So that we can look back and remember the day and see all the little parts we missed! See everyone having fun and get a different perspective on it. How Did You Meet?: We met at Newcastle uni through the ski and snowboard club. For the first year we were just friends then the next year Chris was President of the ski club and I (Hannah) was race captain - so we had to talk quite a bit and then it developed into something more! Describe The Proposal?: We were away skiing in Meribel with another couple. On the last day we went up to one of our favourite off-piste runs and the other couple left us (feigning migraines) and we ducked under the rope and started trekking along the ridge. After a while, Chris skied down to the top of the ridge where we would ski down from and then said he'd take a photo of me... then he clicked off his skis and I knew what was happening. I followed him down the mountain like a giddy child following a ski instructor and then we met our friends for lunch... next thing I know both of our families jumped out from behind a wall which was the next surprise! We had a boozy lunch followed by apres ski - it was amazing! Why this place above anywhere else: This is Chris' parent's place - they bought it 3 years ago and have been renovating it ever since. So it's very special to us all and is unique - the previous owners were married here but no one else so far! It is a stunning building with such beautiful grounds!
