A laugh and tear-filled New Orleans destination wedding video with a powerful story of love, adversity and determination. We had the absolute pleasure to capture a beautiful elopement last June between Holly & Mark at Il Mercato in New Orleans, LA and are happy to share their cinematic flashback with you. Earlier this year, Holly was diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative metastic breast cancer. To say this put a damper on her and Mark's November wedding plans would be a great understatement. While beginning chemotherapy and just handling the shock of the diagnosis, Holly was able to put together an amazing wedding day in just a little over a week of planning. Throughout this process she kept us updated with the constantly changing timeline and helped facilitate answering any question I had. I am still so impressed with how she was able to plan this wedding and battle the cancer simultaneously. To that end, I thought the celebrant's words were particularly on point and wanted to share them in this film alongside the lovely speeches of their friends and family. Having seen, first-hand, the drive and determination of Holly to make this wedding spectacular, I know that she can not only beat cancer but that she and Mark will have an amazing marriage.
