Wedding Date on Aug 17, 2019

Dancing (and getting married) in the rain never looked so good! The storm and ensuing mist on this brave couples wedding day made for an unforgettably beautiful filming experience. Kaitlyn & Tyler grew up in close proximity. As Tyler's father recalls, "Kaitlyn's parents were in our wedding party," and his mother said, "Kaitlyn, you have always been part of our family." Though they grew up in the same circle, love's first seed was sown when "Tyler romantically poured gatorade powder on Kaitlyn's head... and somehow that mysteriously worked out!" Tyler's best man recites how (more than ten years earlier) he and Tyler were enjoying a hot tub when Tyler confessed his love for Kaitlyn. They dated from 17-27, and as Tyler's mom put it, "learned the selflessness of relationship," during a, "ten year dating chapter!" Both intensely athletic and adventurous, Kaitlyn and Tyler didn't let the storm that poured over their ceremony stop them from committing to one another for life right there in the gardens of Serenity Acres, dancing and running in the rain. Honestly, from a cinematographer's point of view, I wouldn't have had it any other way. They soaked in the moment and made it look like it was all part of the plan, with great big drops of rain making for one of the most romantic ceremonies we have EVER captured. Their chemistry was tangible, their affection and joy was all the warmth one needed to forget the chill of the rain. Kaitlyn's Maid of Honour and cousin said it perfectly, "The best things in life come in pairs... Stars with dark, sand with sea, Kaitlyn with Tyler. Cheers to the match of a lifetime!
