Wedding Date on Mar 16, 2019

Daniel is a sweet Mississippi man and I'm a San Antonio, Texas native both brought to Houston after college because of work and ultimately the Lord's divine hand. We met 3 years ago when I had given up particularly on being "set up" by friends...until one friend insisted I MUST meet Daniel. After a slightly awkward casual group breakfast that we both "happened" to be at, he got my number and asked me to go to dinner at now one of our fav restaurants in Houston. I was initially drawn to his thick southern accent (that has actually diminished quite a bit since he's lived in Texas hehe) and his sweet and humble spirit. Although our personalities are quite different - he is more reserved and I'm more outgoing - we share the same foundational values and love the way our differences complement each other so perfectly. One of our favorite things to do in Houston in the summertime is go to an outdoor theater, enjoy a picnic and listen to whatever group or performance is playing. Last summer he wanted to take me on a picnic during the day at the park near the theater and that is where he proposed!
