Wedding Date on Oct 5, 2019

Michael and I met the third day into college at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. I saw him at a freshman orientation and knew I wanted to meet him. We talked for a while and left without getting eachother's number. The next night my roommate's friend called and said "Proskey" was coming to pick us up for the party. I had no idea who it was until I walked out of my dorm to him... we talked until 4am that night at a campus picnic table.. we've been inseparable ever since then. On our first official date he asked me to be his girlfriend and I knew that night I wanted to be with him forever. Michael and I fell in love hard and fast. We grew up together through college and we learned so much through those 4 years and I've loved him more each day. We got married on our 6th anniversary of being together! I traveled to Washington DC to visit my Aunt in November 2017. A few days into the trip, she wanted to take me to the barn where her students (she is a teacher) take riding lessons because she knows how much I love horses! We packed up a picnic and left. Midway through our sack lunch, I heard someone walking toward our table through the leaves and turned to just look. I had to do a double take because this guy really looked like my boyfriend! lol Turns out, it was Michael coming up. He got down on one knee before I could register that he had flown from STL to surprise me. It was a total surprise- I had no idea! I LOVE surprises so this was quite impressive to me! So much fun. So we will be engaged just under 2 years by the time we get married.
