Wedding Date on Sep 29, 2018

It was September 2016, Christina was finishing up graduate school and Luke had just recently moved to Nashville after graduating from Ohio State to begin working at an architecture firm. They both got invited to a get together at a house close to Nashville. Christina walked in and saw a tall, attractive man wearing a red hat while Luke sat and ate spinach dip like it was his last meal. Christina and Luke played a couple of games with their friends and once they became acquaintances they realized they went to the same church and had a few mutual friends. One thing led to another, and the first date was at beautiful park. Hiking, laying in hammocks, and non-stop talking must have gone well because meeting the parents came quicker than normal. Christina had already invited Luke to her family thanksgiving as a friend because she knew he was going to have to be away from his family this year. By the time Thanksgiving rolled around (about a month after asking him) they were dating so the "my friend is coming to Thanksgiving" had to turn into "my err...boyfriend is coming to Thanksgiving." Christina's parents loved him as soon as they met him and a few weeks later Luke's parents were flying in from New York for a trip planned months before. So needless to say, everything happened very quickly, unexpectedly. Luke and Christina were able to go to the Smokey Mountains, Cincinnati, Columbus, and New York during their time dating. A trip to Paris will come in April, so Christina was pretty sure that is when he was going to pop the big question. Little did she know, Luke had been planning an extravagant proposal for weeks. It started with a clue given to her by one of her close friends at church. This clue led her to her best friend Lindsay who was at the pizza spot that Luke and Christina love. At this point, Christina was in shock so she barely talked to her best friend and raced to the next clue which was her sister sitting at one of her favorite coffee shops in Nashville. She immediately burst into tears overwhelmed by the circumstance. Her next stop was to Percy Warner to find her friend Shelby waiting with a clue where their first date started. The clue told her to go back to her house to get dressed in her favorite dress and then drive to Luke's house for the final clue. She got to the parking lot where hundreds of rose petals were scattered everywhere leading to his front door. The house was completely empty and now filled with candles, rose petals in the shape of a heart, pictures of them, and letters written by some of her friends and family. Luke stood in a suit holding a letter and smiling. He read the most heartfelt letter probably ever written and got down on one knee while his brother and her best friend Lindsay took pictures. The night didn't stop there, after a lot of tears and screaming, "YES!" Christina and Luke went to her sisters house where all of her family were waiting for a party to celebrate.
