Wedding Date on Sep 15, 2018

Melissa and Kiel met on a bus. They soon became bus buddies. It took a lot of convincing and smooth talking to get Mel to agree to a trial date. Sly Kiel chose an activity he was awesome at - ice skating. It's on the ice rink their romance sparked first. Soon their relationship blossomed and they became inseparable. It took long 11 years for Kiel to propose. One cold morning he dragged Mel out of the bed to go and see sunrise at Mount Coot-tha with a ring in his pocket and a secret agenda. And that's where Kiel popped the question. Originally, they didn't plan to have a big wedding. In fact, they didn't plan to get married at all. They just moved states, bought a house and had a lot going on between work and home. So their friend Long suggested to marry them over a quick lunch. Kiel loved the idea and together they started planning a get-together backyard engagement barbecue come surprise wedding. Soon it transformed into community hall with caterers and then a full blown wedding ceremony and reception in one of the richest places in Australia! Their friend Long still performed their ceremony for them. Melissa and Kiel both wrote their personal vows that are worthy of a Kleenex pack. After commencing the park ceremony surrounded by friends and family, the whole party moved to Zest at the Spit - a beautiful waterfront venue.
