Wedding Date on May 29, 2019

We met 2011 when we both were on our holiday in the Dominican Republic. I (Nadja) was with my group of friends and Max was with his. Our groups both stayed at the same resort so we saw each other on a daily basis. But on the first days there was nothing more than strong eye contact :) Sometime during the last days Max came to our group and we all had a great time talking. A little bit later he took my hand and we left the group to kill a bottle of wine alone at the beach. That was the first moment we both felt a strong connection. Over time we discovered similar interests like old records and old classic rock songs in particular. Thats why Sweet Child O' mine is our absolutely favorite song and it was such an awesome feeling when we heard it in the first seconds of our wedding film. We grew together over the span of 7 years and it's safe to say that we are made for each other. Of course I expected a proposal form Max any time now because here in Germany we have a saying that translates to „The damned 7th year.“ We traveled to the Maldives and I reeeeealy expected him to propose but evening after evening passed without him proposing. On the last day – before we closed our door for the final time – he grabbed his shoe (yes really) got on his knees and gave me one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen. Now I was the happiest bride-to-be of the world :)
