Jared and I have known each other for many years, but our love story starts in 2014. Jared and I attended the same middle and high school! We had a lot of the same friends growing up, and knew of each other, but our paths never truly crossed until later in life. Jared had joined the army and was stationed in Florida, while I was attending nursing school in Rhode Island. In 2014, Jared came home for Christmas to visit his family. The day after Christmas we both happened to be out at the same bar. For whatever reason (I like to call it fate!) we were standing at the bar next to each other ordering a drink. We started talking, and our conversation lasted for the rest of the night. At this time, we exchanged numbers. To be honest, although I felt a spark, I figured that conversation would be the last until the next holiday trip home. Well, I was wrong! After heading back home to Florida, Jared made it a point to keep that conversation going. We would text daily, as well as calls and Facetime. We built a great friendship over those first few months. We flew back and forth to visit each other, and our friendship quickly developed into a loving relationship. We had a long-distance relationship for almost a year. Jared had already been planning to transfer back to the Rhode Island/Massachusetts area to be closer to his family, and in November of 2015, I flew down to Florida and we drove back together. Over the next few years, we had moved in together, gotten to know each other’s family, and traveled the world together. Fast forward to June of 2018, Jared and I were on vacation in Paris. While we were walking through the park, across from the Eiffel Tower, Jared proposed! It was such a beautiful moment. Getting engaged in Paris was magical. We spent the rest of the day walking the city and it really was one of the best days of my life. I had always dreamed of getting married on the beach. We decided to get married at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana. We had about 55 of our closest friends and family there with us. The day was truly amazing. Thank you Photo Cine Art for capturing one of the most important and amazing days of our lives!! We will never forget the moments and emotions that were shared on this day because they were captured perfectly in the pictures!
