Wedding Date on May 14, 2022

Nick proposed to Allie on his birthday, in their apartment which was the first place they lived together after a long distance relationship. Bald Head Island is a very special place to Allie and her family. Which means it has become a special place for her and Nick. Her family grew up vacationing on the island. Between the nostalgia of the location and it's remarkable beauty, it was an easy choice for their wedding day. Having spent so much of her life on the island, she was familiar with the Meredith and West's wedding film from a few years earlier, which we filmed! They loved that wedding so much they reached out to Kickstand Events who had planned and designed that wedding as well. Sallie and Courtney helped them plan the perfect wedding day in the small park behind her parent's house on the Island. Spring on the island is perfection so a clear tent was a must to allow the beautiful natural light in and to dance under the stars to the hiphop and R&B tunes (Allie and Nick's favorite) from Envision Band. In a modern, white satin dress from Danielle Frankel, with cascading shoulders, Allie was stunning. Her best accessory? That smile! She and Nick were so animated and so joyful, it was infectious. You cannot not smile when you are around them. It was truly a perfect day.
