Wedding Date on Nov 9, 2019

Alyssa and Braden found each other on facebook when they were 19 years old, and Alyssa messaged Braden first, but who reached out first might change depending who you ask. ;) When Braden came to pick Alyssa up from her parents house for their first date, Alyssa was completely blown away within that very moment and instantly felt a connection she never had before. When they left to go on their first date, Alyssa tried to get into the wrong car thinking it was Braden's, when his car was actually a little "Purple Dragon" car parked across the way. They laugh telling that story now, but felt awkward at the time! Their first date lasted hours on end and ended with the two of them star gazing in a park (can you say fairytale??). Fast forward several years and they moved down to Florida together and opened up Alyssa Marie Gallery where they paint murals and Alyssa has tons of commissioned art projects. They love to sail on their sailboat, take their two pups to the beach, and enjoy every little moment. When they got engaged, they planned to have a long engagement and save up their money over time. But one of Alyssa's best friends, her grandfather, began to have declining health problems and Alyssa couldn't fathom the thought of getting married without him there. So the two of them reached out in the "I love St.Pete" Facebook page, looking for anyone who would offer up their services, decorations, or anything for free or cheap. I saw their post on Facebook and offered to shoot their wedding video for free so that they could have a video to remember their day. The whole community came together and they had a wedding photographer, acoustic singer, and dessert all for free! Alyssa even hand made her own dress, which isn't s surprise because of how talented she is! Fox 13 news heard about the beautiful wedding that the community put together and even featured them on the news one evening.
