Alyssa and John met in the most modern way... on a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel, but their courtship was anything but traditional. In John's words "Our relationship has grown, not through the ease and convenience of daily in-person contact, but through the effort and commitment to talk daily, go on date-cations, and travel back and forth between Georgia and DC." The biggest theme in their wedding film is Family. From John asking Alyssa's daughter for permission to marry her mother, Alyssa's father (who had recently passed) having a saved front-row-seat during the ceremony, all the way to the reception where Alyssa asked her brother to step in for the Father-Daughter dance. It was a very emotional wedding day filled with lots of laughs and tears.
