Wedding Date on Mar 31, 2019

It all began on Memorial Day Weekend, 2016. Edgar lives in San Francisco, but was visiting Atlanta that weekend to watch his team play the Braves. During the game he got a message from Amanda on a dating app - "Hi Edgar, you're super adorable". They continued chatting, although Amanda was shy at first. He tried to meet for coffee before he left but she said no! He eventually got her phone # and they began talking long distance. In August of that year, Edgar made the bold decision to fly out to Atlanta to go on an official date with Amanda. Later in the evening, they took a stroll through Piedmont Park and ended up sitting on a bench and chatting. It is here that Edgar took out a handwritten letter - asking Amanda to be his girlfriend! Up until this point Amanda never believed in the phrase "When you know, you know", but after hearing this sweet letter, she knew. They continued dating long distance between San Fran and Atlanta for a year and half. Fast forward to May of 2018, Edgar brought his mom to Atlanta to meet Amanda's parents. He planned a family outing to the Giants v. Braves game that evening. On the morning of, Edgar told Amanda he had to meet a guy in Piedmont park to pick up the tickets. Coincidentally, they ended up at the same bench where Edgar had asked her to be his girlfriend a year and half earlier. Here is where Edgar asked the big question, and Amanda said yes again! Almost a year and half later they were married in Saint Augustine, FL. Amanda grew up in Jacksonville, went to school in Gainesville, and moved to Atlanta after for a job, but they both wanted to get married in Florida. They chose Saint Augustine for its beauty and being the perfect getaway for guests coming from all over the country. The happy couple now resides in San Francisco!
