Wedding Date on Oct 16, 2021

I don't know where to begin with Amanda and Mike. I feel like we've been through it all with them. We did an engagement shoot shortly after they booked us and it must have been the hottest day of 2020. We knew we were bound to have a great relationship with them after their dogs showed up and we ended up doing half of the shoot in Lake Michigan. A few months later we were on a zoom call when they hint to us that they really want to include a Colorado elopement as part of their wedding, as Colorado is an incredibly big piece of their story. We couldn't turn down a chance to join them and capture it. Let me tell you, weddings are special. It's amazing to be invited in on someone's biggest day. However, it is a whole other level of special to be invited into the most intimate of ceremonies, hiking up a mountain at 6 am, and being one 9 people present for the event. Truly a morning I will never forget. A few months later we followed that up with an amazing fall wedding back in West Michigan and the Barn at Monterey Valley. They pulled out all the stops and had the most beautiful decor and celebration with their families.
