Wedding Date on Sep 8, 2018

Anna and I met in college, University of California, Irvine. We were young and completely opposite not only in what we were studying, Anna in Nursing and myself an Art Major, but also our personalities, one of us a bit wild the other a bit reserved (I'll leave it to your imagination who was which). We met through mutual friends and randomly took a class together. In one of the lectures, the professor said.. "Your parents want you to get into a good school not just to get a good education... but to meet your potential husband/wife, since if they also made it into that good school, there's a good chance they're qualified." We looked at each other, smiled and chuckled... and a few years after when we were dating told each other what we were both thinking.. "yeah right."Since our early days, we've both grown immensely, with our relationship, careers, faith, family and friends.. so we were ready to share our the next chapter of our lives with everybody. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, but it didn't happen without dedicated time and patience. We had our moments of "why are we doing this" and "is it even worth it." In the end, we both agree, it was all worth it. Plan and perfect the things that are very important to you.. and start those early. Don't sweat the small stuff. Most of all communication and patience with one another, guests and family member is really key.... so start a joint email!!!As much as you will want to plan a wedding that your guests will enjoy, I think it's always important to remember that your guests are there to celebrate you. The reason you invited them is because you love them.. and they love you. And even if you were forced to invite them.. they're somehow connected to somebody you love, that also loves you back. So, sure, people are very critical about weddings, but, don't worry, they're there for YOU! Even if that steak is slightly over cooked, the DJ came in late on the first dance song, stumbled on your speech or you overfed all your guests... they're still going to be happy for you.
