Wedding Date on Sep 3, 2023

From the bride: We actually met our freshman year of high school at the first school dance! We were always good friends throughout high school and got close our senior year. We kept in touch throughout college--we liked sending pictures of dogs back and forth to each other. My name on ryan's phone was "puppy pal". I started catching feelings for Ryan right after college, but he wanted to stay friends. But in 2019, Ryan and I reconnected and went on a date randomly and the rest is history! We got engaged exactly a year ago 9/3/2022 in Monterey, CA. It's where ryan and i went on our first solo vacation back in 2019. We went for a weekend trip for labor day. We started the day at the aquarium and went wine tasting and went on the shortest 17 mile drive ever--we got out at the first stop. We went walking on the beach and Ryan popped the question! Both our immediate families were there and Ryan even coordinated a surprise engagement party afterwards at a restaurant in slo with our best friends and closest family members.
