Wedding Date on Oct 16, 2021

From the bride: We met through mutual friends after pharmacy school at a pot luck that both of us didn't even want to originally go to! As soon as we saw each other we talked for the rest of the night nonstop. Aakash lived in Mystic CT when we fist met so we spent a lot of time there. We live in NJ now but still go back to visit Mystic. We have a favorite spot down by the water we always go to and there are usually painters there painting the landscape. I told him we'll have to get one of those paintings some day. The day that he proposed, we went down to our spot before dinner because his friend was "running late" and there was a painter there. We hung out for a little then he was like "let's go check out the painting and see if we want to buy it." When i looked, it was a painting of him proposing to me in that spot!! He proposed then our friends and family jumped out of the bushes and our friend sang Perfect by Ed Sheeran. It was a literal dream.
