Wedding Date on Sep 7, 2018

We met Cassandra + Matt on a service trip to Peru with @somewheredevine two summers ago + became FAST friends with them as we bonded + explored the beautiful country of Peru together. There was one night during our trip where we all went out to eat together in the city of Cuzco. Cassandra decided to go grab food with some of the other girls on our trip + Matt ended up staying behind with our small group. While talking together, we noticed that Matt seemed nervous, giddy, + fidgety...jokingly I asked, “so, Matt...when are you popping the question?” and with the most shocked look on his face he said “HOW DID YOU KNOW!?!!” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although my question was a joke, we found out that night that Matt was planning a huge surprise + would be proposing to Cassandra during our trip on the day we would be heading to Machu Picchu. It was SO sweet to witness the days leading up to that moment...where he asked Cass to be his for life in front of one of the wonders of the world. We’ve come to adore these two humans + count it the greatest blessing that they asked us to help create a wedding film for them — and an even greater blessing that we get to call them some of our dearest friends. We traveled up to Minnesota last fall, had the sweetest reunion, + witnessed two of our absolute favorite people on this planet promise to be each other's for life. It truly doesn’t get any sweeter.
