Wedding Date on Aug 18, 2018

David and Michelle started innocently enough. They met in the summer before their senior year of high school and there was immediate chemistry. Parting for college was one of their saddest times together. Michelle soon figured out that Santa Barbara was not the best fit for her. She transferred to Davis (where David was attending) after her freshman year because of their superior bio program (and she still sticks to that story to this day). After college, they both moved back to the Bay Area as they started to build their lives together. David proposed to Michelle on one of their favorite trails. They felt extremely lucky to get the Piedmont Community Hall because they wanted a venue close to where they grew up. It is one of the most popular event venues in Northern California. Azaleas and camellias provide splashes of color near the circular landscaped plaza in front of the hall. Redwoods and flowering cherry trees shade portions of the plaza, and behind the building, a stream and more trees complete the circle of greenery. The venue provided a perfect backdrop for the naturally elegant and simple style of wedding that they were going for. The ceremony was full of laughs and tears. And while both of them agree that they had a blast at the reception, the ceremony was their favorite and most special part.
