Nikita met Farzin at work. He was her boss. Farzin proposed to Nikita in Bali on the very last night and “tried to throw me off that he was going to do it the whole trip”. Eventually he did! They choose to have their wedding at Quamby as they fell in love with it the first sight. It has an old charm to it and beautiful grounds. It was important that their wedding was more than just a day . They turned it into a weekend of celebrating as they had the whole estate to themselves for the weekend. Since Quamby already had such a natural aesthetic that appealed to them, it was so easy to add to it. They went simple with a white and gold theme with some festoon lighting and greenery in the chandeliers. It was very elegant and classic. The story of Nikita and Farzin and was told so well by the Maid of Honour: “The story of nikita and farzin is a true fairy tale. Once upon a time there was a young princess who dreamed of marrying her prince charming. Her name was Nikita. When Nikita was around 15 she got her first job at Videoezy. She met a man, a Persian prince, if you will. Nikita had a crush on this Persian prince for a while before anything happened. She would gush about her sexy boss to her friends at school. The princess was however a young reserved woman so she admired her prince from afar. But one day Nikita and Farzin decided to dress up for staff party together. They were to go together as Jasmine and Aladdin. They arranged their costumes together and Nikita looked beautiful – a true Persian princess. Unfortunately, Niki had the wrong impression about the evening and her prince turned up with another girl. Niki was really upset by this. She took the prince aside and told him how she felt. That she thought he was her prince charming but perhaps he was just an ugly green frog. As it turns out, the Persain prince was clueless as to how Niki felt. The prince pondered his thoughts and feelings and it turns out that he was actually quite smitten by this Persian princess that had waltz through the door. Its at this point that the two started their journey together. As in all fairytales it must be said that they all lived happily ever after. The love between these two is something that read about in books. It’s a genuine love story. There's a wholesomeness of the love between nikita and farz you just can't put your finger on. There's nothing quite like it and they’re a true inspiration to me.
