Wedding Date on Jul 6, 2019

Carly and Germain had an ethereal and authentic riverside wedding in Theresa, Wisconsin in the bride's grandfather's backyard, in which Carly arrived to the ceremony via a rowboat with her father. Germain and Carly met in 2012 and immediately were fast friends. They continued to be best friends for SIX years prior to dating. They did everything together, knew and deeply loved each other's families, took trips together, and basically walked each other through the joyful and difficult parts of life. Whenever anyone would ask if they would ever date each other they both would quickly answer no. They had a million "what if" conversations that would always get shut down one way or another. There was no way. Carly explained that somewhere, somehow, things shifted first on her end, and then his: "Both of eyes opened and it became seemingly obvious and simple. We are each other's person, the first one we would call in a crisis, the last one we would talk to before going to bed. Why would we not want to spend the rest of our lives having slumber parties with our best friend?" They got married on July 6th 2019 in Carly's grandfathers backyard. 5 months later her amazing grandfather passed away.
