It's hard to know where to start with this gorgeous wedding at Dream Point Ranch in Bixby, OK. Grace + DJ are two of the kindest souls and it was truly an honor to capture this most anticipated wedding day. Grace began writing letters to her future husband at 19 years old before she ever knew his name. On the morning of their wedding, she gifted this book of letters to DJ. They both had been praying for each other years before they met, and when they did meet they became best friends long before they started dating. They really did marry their best friend and they give God all the glory! They chose not to do a first look before the wedding, but did a "first touch" instead, and as you will see when you watch this film, it made for the sweetest moment for them to be together before the ceremony. They were able to hold hands and read their letters to each other, while still saving the first look for when DJ saw Grace walking down the aisle - which is a moment you don't want to miss. DJ's reaction was so sweet. You can just see his emotion and excitement in seeing his bride for the first time as they begin their lifetime commitment to each other. I could go on and on about this day. Dream Point Ranch is truly one of the most beautiful places in Oklahoma, providing the perfect backdrop for an occasion such as this. Grace and DJ's reception was full of elegant fun, color, disco balls, dancing and of course Braum's ice cream, a big favorite of the bride! All in all an extremely sweet and gorgeous day for the Gassos! I loved being able to incorporate some of their proposal footage into this film.
