I don’t think “fun” is even a strong enough word to describe this wedding lol! From the moment we arrived until the second we packed the car back up and left, we were laughing literally all day long. The day started off in Jupiter at the hotel where Jacey & Steph were getting ready. The views were incredible, and I’m not just talking about the beach! I started with details as I always do and just loved that in every aspect of their day, Jacey found a way to incorporate her late father. From bouquet charms, photos and custom baseball jerseys, he was with her at every point of the day. They honored quite a few of their late relatives. Both Jacey’s and Steph’s moms even wore charms on their dresses. Details like that are just so special!
Jacey & Steph started their day together with a first look and read their personal vows to one another. This is probably my favorite part of the day! They got to be present in the moment they saw each other, with no distractions. They read their vows privately to one another (+the whole camera crew we got going on haha) and just got to enjoy each other’s company before the day got too crazy. Stephanie was pretty surprised when she saw Jacey, which was just the cutest thing. They were both REALLY excited her dress had pockets, and who can blame them?! I love a dress with pockets! Steph rocked her “Ellen suit” and shade. We had a lot of fun with their portraits afterwards (as you can probably tell below).
The weather was absolutely perfect! Probably the most beautiful it’s been in a while here. It wasn’t killer hot and humid, and that’s something we can be thankful for haha. The venue has so many horses, which we attempted to be friends with, but they weren’t much into all the paparazzi going on. However, they happily took treats and slobbered all over the place!
Jacey and I actually went to high school together, so I was really excited to see a few familiar faces in the bridal party and crowd! (Peek the ‘Stead group photo below!) The bridal party consisted of bridesmaids and groomswomen, Flower Dude, and Steph had her cousin as her Best Woman. Everyone was high energy and a ton of fun, with a whole lot of ass smacking
Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any more fun, the reception started and proved me wrong The toasts were hilarious and had the entire room hysterical But it didn’t stop there, because Jacey had a surprise for Stephanie and boy was she suuuuuuurpriseddddd!!! In danced Salma Love – the drag performer. Steph fell on the floor in shock and laughter It was personally my first time seeing a drag queen in person, so this was fun!! The entire crowd loved every second of it, but not more than Steph did! Salma Love came out and did three total performances throughout the night.
