Wedding Date on Aug 17, 2019

Jake and Edlyn met at Camp No-Counselors. A ski trip organized by mutual friends. They both admit that they shared an Instant connection. They tried out a long distance, Jake in Boston and Edlyn in New York. But it didn't take long for them to realize this was something truly special and only months later Jake moved down to New York City. They shared in many adventures over the years, like motorcycles rides through Bali. Edlyn taking a train to see Jake in Boston, only to realize once she arrived that she was actually in Washington D.C. Getting married up at a summer camp was the perfect backdrop for these two nature loving adventurous souls. The weather could not have been more beautiful...that is until the moment we entered the tent for the reception and a flash flood broke out. During their first dance the tent and entire dance floor flooded and yet it did not slow them down in the slightest. Even after the whole wedding got moved into the mountain house these two welcomed it like champions. From people eating dinner sitting along the stair case to dancing away on a crowded living room floor with the band tucked back behind the fireplace, these two embraced the glory of their friends and family all in one place and partied like it was always meant to be this way!
