Wedding Date on Aug 8, 2015

Jane and Mekki had been high school sweethearts, so there was an added specialness to the day as most of the guests had watched both of them grow up together. We were all prepared for rain and an indoor ceremony, but as often happens, the skies opened up just as guests arrived. With umbrellas ready, everyone stood for the ceremony, with the sun only beaming brighter. Oh, and that bird!!! You’ll see him in a couple of shots, but he actually was somehow part of the entire event, unexplainably connected to Jane and Mekki. He arrived just before start time, traveled up and down the aisle for the full ceremony, stayed close for pictures and even ventured into the tent for toasts and dancing. A true love bird!
