Wedding Date on Nov 29, 2019

Jay and Piumi first met in 2012 through a mutual friend Dulare who was best friends with Piumi and knew Jay through high school. Piumi had just a brand new phone so her and Dulare decided it was a good idea to test out her new phone by prank calling a random number. Dulare instantly thought of Jay and decided to text him "Do you like crazy wings?" Which is a famous chicken wing hotspot down here in Melbourne. Jay who was working at a grocery store at the time got the message and texted back "Who is this, I don't have that much credit" The girls gave in extremely quickly and decided to reveal themselves as the pranksters and that is when Jay and Piumi started texting each other non-stop. As Jay says in his vows "There was once a time you were a perfect stranger in my life. Yet from the time we met we felt like we have known each other all of our lives. We just picked up where we have left off" The engagement video was a surprise to Piumi as she did not know it was secretly recorded. The engagement consisted of pictures of them throughout their time together hanged around a park gazebo while Piumi's sister guided Piumi to the gazebo and on the other side waiting is Jay with a bunch of roses in hand and a diamond ring hidden away. This wedding consists of three days which had a hindu ceremony, a buddhist ceremony and a civil ceremony which brings all the cultures together.
