Jonathan As a new teacher entering my first full-time job, I had many overwhelming feelings, but I did not expect newfound love to be one of them. Walking up the stairs of George Jackson Academy, I had my first run-in with Jennifer Nancy Errico. She was coming out of her classroom, a room that was being meticulously scrubbed from top to bottom until it met the impeccable cleanliness that Jennifer holds all of her spaces to. I was walking up to see my classroom for the first time and begin the process of creating a new lab setting when Jennifer and I literally bumped into one another. She gazed up at me with those big, beautiful eyes, and I knew I was in trouble. Little did I know I would spend the rest of my life with this woman, a person that impresses and surprises me day after day with her unrelenting passion for life, talent in her career, and empathy for others. When I accepted that job offer, I had no idea I was accepting something much greater and more meaningful than I could have ever imagined. Seeing Jennifer for the first time was the greatest moment of my life second only to getting to know her and, now, vowing to care for her and love her forever. Jennifer It was August 2012 and I was setting up my very first classroom ever with my mom and my sister. My boss at the time told me that the other new teacher was going to be coming in as well and that we were going to be "best friends!" In walks this tall, burnt to a crisp guy with a ponytail. Jon, having spent the summer lifeguarding and not wearing sunscreen, was looking a bit more weathered and shaggy than he does now. Though my mother and sister say differently, I had no idea at the time how hard I was going to fall. Jon was, and still is, the most fun and interesting person I have ever met and I felt like there was this magnet drawing me to him. I was immediately drawn to his passion for teaching, as well as the overwhelming kindness he shows towards students. I remember watching his 6'2" frame crouching down to look one of my 4th grade students in the eye and I knew I was completely hooked, and that this was the man to spend the rest of my life with.
