“Many of you might not know this, but during Joe’s senior year of high school, he tore his ACL. On that day, the unfortunate decision was made that his baseball career had ended. As it turned out, God had a different plan in mind for Joe... because of that injury, he ended up at Florida State University and eventually met the love of his life.” When Joe’s brother and best man shared this information with everyone, there were so many emotions in the room. It’s funny how the world works and how one unfortunate event can lead to something even better than you could have imagined. In Joe’s case, he was lucky enough to meet the one he calls his best friend, the one who he couldn’t imagine living without.
