Wedding Date on May 11, 2019

Katrina and Adam met the way we all do in college. Girl is with her friends at the dining hall, friends see boy, nickname him Washboard for his quote “rockin abs” (see video for explanation😉) and sends girl over to talk to him. The two hit it off, continue their romance through undergrad, then grad, then Katrina becoming a Doctor!…and now they are married! Throughout their emotional wedding video you’ll find several themes. Theme 1: Fairytales are real. They involve a King ( Mr. Wes, Katrina’s Dad) giving the ultimate blessing to his Princess to marry her Prince. The trust and true faith he had in Adam shows how much he loved his son in law, and trusted him with the care and protection of Katrina. Theme 2: Love overcomes all. Even though rain threatened all day, everyone at this wedding lived in each moment without fear and in celebration of Adam & Katrina’s love. From the excited squeals of her bridesmaids to the joyful faces of their grandparents as they awaited the start of the ceremony, rain wasn’t even on the radar. (Although once the first dances began, it did start…and didn’t stop until time for the newlyweds to depart!) Theme 3: Timing is everything. From the moment they “met” at Southern Union, to the way that the rain went from monsoon-heavy to NOTHING just in time for their grand exit amidst fireworks and cheers…this wedding proves that sometimes timing can be perfect.
