Wedding Date on Oct 2, 2021

{Written by the couple} We met 15 years ago in high school during my sophomore year, his freshman year at the school rally bonfire. We have dated on and off (mainly on) since then! Clay proposed in October 2020 in Napa, I thought we were going for my 30th birthday however, he had a master plan to keep me completely off guard. We went to a few wineries prior and finally ended up at one of our favorites who we know the proprietor at. The proprietor took us out to the vineyard where I thought we were grape stomping and then left to get go my dad and step mom to meet us. At this point it was just Clay and I overlooking vineyard with mountains and lake in front of us and I asked to take a picture because it was so beautiful and he said yes. I propped my camera up and he got onto his knee (I really did not think anything of this), it was the perfect angle for us to take a picture! I sat down and the camera was counting down and then he popped the question! It was very special because it was just us and then when we got back to the tasting room our families were there (surprise!) to celebrate with us!
