Kelly and Christian met when she was 6 and he was 5. And they just got married. They grew up living across the street from each other and became the best of friends, and only started dating in their 20s. It's rare to see such a deep love that extends back into the history of two families and binds them together through time. Hearing friends and family speak, the story of Kelly and Christian becomes more than just two people uniting, but about two families uniting. Kelly starting keeping a journal when she began dating Christian, filling it with thoughts, drawings and photos documenting the time they were together and apart. Kelly was living in Los Angeles and working as a Director of Photography on film sets and Christian was in the Bay Area finishing school. The journal’s last entry is Kelly’s written vows. Kelly then presented the journal to Christian during the ceremony and after the ceremony they looked through it together for the first time.
