Wedding Date on Sep 15, 2018

Meeting Your Mate We met in a leadership class at the University of Georgia! We have a mutual friend, Brandon (who is standing up in our wedding), that introduced us/forced time together with us : ) Kosta was pretty shy so we would definitely not be together without Brandon's help! He knew I liked Kosta so he would force Kosta to come over to our house or out for activities. Kosta is very old school when it comes to dating and finally asked me out to dinner and a movie and picked me up. He even refused to kiss me for 3 dates! He was a total gentleman. Falling In Love: Kosta was intentional about dating so we always knew we wouldn't be together if we didn't see a future. He was different from any guy I had ever met in the most refreshing way. He is the most patient, respectful, and kind person I've met. He would (and has) given the last dollar in his wallet or the shirt off his back to a complete stranger. I knew he was the one for me the first Christmas when we were not officially dating and he sent my dog more Christmas gifts than me. He understood the key to my heart! He treated my family, friends, and animals like his own and I knew he was the one. Popping the Question: My fiancé surprised me by staging a walk with my mom and my friend down a boardwalk into a river in Savannah that we went frequently. My mom pretended she forgot her phone and told me to go ahead. As I walked down the boardwalk I could see there were pictures and signs set up and I was panicking that we were ruining someone's romantic moment! I was so surprised when I walked up to the first picture and it was of Kosta and me! He was waiting at the end with our dog and our favorite song playing and he got down on one knee. The best part was he had all our family and friends hiding out that had flown in from all over the country!
