Wedding Date on Jun 5, 2021

Both Gerhard and I attended a birthday party at a bar in NYC for a mutual friend's birthday in September 2015. Gerhard came in from NJ for the get together, and I came in from Long Island. I actually showed up to the bar with another guy that night. Gerhard politely asked if we were dating and when I said no, he boldly asked for my number right in front of the other guy. Now that I know how shy and reserved Gerhard is, I realized how out of character that was for him. Gerhard and I texted back and forth constantly for a few weeks and then began driving back and forth between NJ/Long Island on the weekends to see each other for the next 3 years. We moved into an apartment in Queens together in 2018- It has been wonderful everyday since! I still can’t believe how lucky I was to have my soulmate basically handed to me that night!
