Wedding Date on Mar 3, 2018

Although they officially began at an overly crowded bar on Dauphin Street, this love story trails a few years back to the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center, or more commonly known as “the gym”. Lillian reluctantly joined the Spring Hill College Dance Team after vowing that she had retired from the Dance World, and Tripp had transferred in from Rhodes College to play basketball for Spring Hill. And well, this is where the story kicks off… she’s cheering for the defense or offense or whoever she’s supposed to be cheering for at the moment and he’s dribbling up and down the court. Well let me tell you something… that red hair and purple jersey was no match for Lillian. She was in awe, partially because, well, red heads aren’t really an everyday run-in down in Miami, Florida, and because he was just so nice to look at! For the next few years they remained friends, led completely separate lives, and only crossed paths at these basketball events. Fast forward to that first Spring Hill Thursday night out of Senior Year… this Cuban girl and that Alabama boy find each other at the ever-so-classy bar called “Pat’s” (cue sarcasm). Tripp is now finding that he is attracted to this species of woman rarely found in Alabama…. a Cuban girl! They share a few drinks and plan a first official date at Mobile’s finest gathering, Beerfest. Beerfest comes and goes and Tripp and Lillian hit it off. After a year of dating, Tripp moved down to Orlando where he had been working for a few months, and since then we've bought our own house and are now getting married!
