Wedding Date on Nov 29, 2015

From The Bride: Sami and I have known each other since we were 14, and she was even my date to senior prom! We went our separate ways after high school and through college, but had a chance meeting of fates on a random summer afternoon in August 2013. We've been inseparable ever since. I proposed on June 1, 2014 at my dad's farm in Norther Maryland. I knew that I wanted our proposal to be special, unique, and captured by a professional photographer. I couldn’t figure out how to get both of us dressed up and in the middle of a field at the same time. Our friend, Emily, decided to help me out and get in on the action. She told Sami that a friend of hers was doing a “photo series” on lesbian couples in the Baltimore area and wanted to know if we would be willing to be apart of the “project.” Of course, Sami agreed! The weather on proposal day was absolutely gorgeous and there was definitely love in the air. Planning our wedding was actually incredibly easy, as we both have very similar taste and style. We also really tried to focus on what our wedding and marriage was truly about (love, commitment, support) rather than get caught up in the nitty-gritty details or worry about whether or not the day would go smoothly. Always keeping this in the back of our minds made for an incredibly relaxed, warm, and love-filled evening.
