Wedding Date on Nov 30, 2018

Heavy clouds blowing through the Smokey Mountains; rain gently falling on the streets, reflecting the Christmas lights that decked the town; fog rolling over a wintry lake as a wedding party stands on its banks witnessing a wedding unfold. Marianne and Ryan's wedding in Blowing Rock, North Carolina was breathtakingly beautiful. We met up with the couple the day after their wedding for an adventure session in the town of Blowing Rock and luckily for us, they were as excited to be out playing in the rain as we were! Luckily on the wedding day itself, the rain held off until just after the ceremony. The fog on the lake was so stunning and proved to be the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt vows. With Christmas just round the corner from this December wedding, the rich palette that the couple chose for their bridal party and reception felt so festive and so right for the day.
