Wedding Date on Nov 2, 2018

In 2015, while Jesse was hosting monthly events with a DJ friend of his, Brice. Marra was invited Brice's girlfriend to the event and she started attending more frequently. Over the next couple months we got to know each other which lead to our first date at the MOCA in DTLA. esse had planned a mini getaway to Big Sur (which he disguised as a late birthday trip), but had to change 3 weeks before the trip due to landslides blocking access to Big Sur. We instead drove to Monterey and decided to drive up the 17 Mile Drive, a winding road that went through golf courses like Pebble Beach and the coast. We like to take stops along our trips to take photos, so we decided to stop at Spanish Bay along the water. We walked to a secluded bluff right next to the water and as Jesse was getting into the groove of his proposal, Marra's best friend called her. Marra thought Jesse had said "You can take that now," but he really said "You can Take that later." So basically, Marra ended up picking a phone call in the middle of Jesse's proposal. When she hung up, Jesse realized that it was no longer a private setting because people began to walk by. He then decided to just pop the question, but luckily, two older women had ended up catching the moment on their phones as they passed by!
