Wedding Date on Jul 4, 2018

I'll never forget the first night we met. It was on a December night in 2011, at a downtown Boston establishment, where Caroline and Mike for the first time introduced me to Caroline's beautiful sister Meghan. A rowdy bar patron had dropped a glass that smashed into pieces right next to our table. As a frustrated wait staff came by to clean up, Meghan took the broom and cleaned the whole thing up for them, despite having nothing to do with the incident. A completely selfless and genuine act of kindness that I've come to know is the essence of who Meghan is. As fate would have it, I had just met the love of my life, although I was too painfully shy to ask her out. It only took me 3 short years to muster up the courage to ask Meghan on a date. This was after multiple seasons playing together on a co-ed basketball team where I tried (and failed miserably) to impress her athletically. Finally, at Caroline and Mike's wedding, I convinced her to join me for a slow dance to a Boyz II Men song. Despite stepping on her feet multiple times, she stayed by my side. I asked her out the next day and the rest, as they say, is history. Meghan - you are the girl of my dreams, the love of my life, and I can't wait to spend my forever with you.
