Wedding Date on Jun 8, 2020

Nikita and Peter had their plans all laid out for their wedding in September 2020, but then, you know... 2020 happened. When the Covid-19 pandemic shut down all non-essential businesses in Ontario and lead to a stay home order, Peter and Nikita were separated by household. The quarantine instantly turned their relationship on its head. They went from weekly dates and seeing each other almost daily to social distance visits in the backyard and through their front windows. The virus brought them a huge amount of clarity. As they realized that their big wedding in September was in limbo, they said, "heck, let's just get married now!" So they moved their plans, had some tough conversations, pulled together their ensembles, picked a beautiful outdoor location, and got married on June 8, 2020, at Snyder's Flats just outside of Waterloo, in Southern Ontario.
