Wedding Date on Dec 7, 2018

Sayge and Kai decided to have their wedding vows at Central Union Church, an iconic church in Honolulu with grand Colonial-revival sanctuary and high-reaching steeple. But for an added casual touch, the two held their ceremony just outside of the Atherton Chapel in the lawn under the grand Monkeypod Tree. The lawn was the perfect place for an afternoon wedding ceremony, with the cool Mānoa tradewinds blowing in the shade of the tree. Just as their ceremony finished, we packed things up and took a quick drive up through Tantalus for some photos at Puʻu Ualakaʻa. We had a lot of fun taking photos with the view of Downtown Honolulu and getting lost in the forest. Sometimes this is the best part of the wedding day, when the bride and groom can just relax, spend some alone time together and take in the beauty of their wedding day. I highly recommend setting up a short photo tour like this on your wedding day - if you can spare the time. Once we had our fill of photos, we joined the rest of the party in Waikīkī for a night of dancing, mele, hula and overall good times. I wish them the best and hope that their first year as a married couple started off with a bang.
