Wedding Date on Apr 5, 2019

I always told my fiancé that when he proposed I would know. Robert was never the planner. Somehow he planned the most perfect day and totally shock me! I had arranged for us to go for Sunday brunch at the Atrium in Dumbo. So Robert thought this would be the perfect time to plan the proposal. He knew if he had made the plans on his own that I would have expected something. We woke up like any other day. We got dressed headed for Brooklyn. He wasn’t the least bit nervous! We ate brunch and then went for a walk by the Brooklyn bridge park which we do quite often, it’s one of our favorite spots. I began taking pictures on my camera. Then he told me to put the camera down.It’s all a blur what he exactly said because I was so in shock but it was along the lines of “I love you with all my heart and want to spend the rest of my life with you.” In my head I was thinking is he going to propose but then I thought no way. All of a sudden he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! It was perfect. My sister and his brother were hiding in the grass taking pictures and videos. They came over to us afterward screaming and yelling with excitement. Robert had all our family and friends back at our house for a celebration after we took some photos by the water. I have never been more surprised and shocked in my life! It truly was an amazing day. I can’t wait to marry my best friend!
