Caleb and Sue first met while on a documentary team formed to tell the stories of South Sudanese refugees in Northern Uganda. They quickly became friends after Sue lost her phone on the plane ride to Africa and Caleb kindly let her borrow his when needed - this usually meant sitting together on long bus rides to and from the refugee camps to share a podcast or music. While the documentary was the main focus for those two months in Uganda, feelings were realized and from Sue: "I've never felt more grateful to have lost my phone on a plane to Africa." 🎥 Caleb and Sue left voicemails for each other on the morning of the wedding so that they could keep those memories saved on their phones forever. We loved this idea and ran with it.
