Sunny and David have been together for about 5 years. They got engaged in less than a year since they first met, but a lot of things happened in between those years. Sunny's mom passed away and she had to move to Korea and be a parent to her brother for about 3 years. (Thankfully, David came with her) and when they finally found peace & time to get married, Covid happened. Interestingly enough, this whole line of events made them realize that what's really important is their life journey together, not just the sparkly wedding day itself. So they decided to keep everything minimal and elope in SoCal. This video shows their perspective on marriage and their ordinary yet special day of elopement.
They have a cat named Dotto they dearly love. Sunny loves cooking for David and she likes to think that David likes being her sous chef. They like to go to the beach and go hiking on weekends. They are introverts, but are also super goofy when they are comfortable, especially when they are with each other.
Their elopement day started at the top of Aliso Peak in Laguna Beach, CA on sunrise. They climbed up that mountain to exchange the perfect vows and enjoy that special moment together. They also had a call at the top with their closest family from Korea. After the sunrise part we went to the beach to capture some intimate moments with Sunny and David. And the cherry on top was the house with gorgeous ocean view where they share their cooked together their favorite shakshuka, cut the cake and popped up the champagne.
