Wedding Date on Jul 20, 2019

Their story begins on the rooftop of 6th street in Austin, TX. Joe was on a weekend boys trip with some of the guys he worked with, and Taylor was also visiting a friend. Taylor and her friend were listening to live music on a rooftop when one of Joe's friends approached them and starting chatting. Later that night they ran into him again but this time he had a friend with him who was Joe. Taylor was immediately attracted to Joe and his great dance moves. They ended up on another rooftop dancing the night away. The night ended and Joe got Taylor's number to go floating down the river the following day. It took awhile to get there however Joe held up the last truck to take them to the river. Joe and Taylor spent the whole float time talking and getting to know one another. At the end of the day they said that they hoped to stay in contact. After that Joe and Taylor decided to Skype date (Really they would buy the same food and over Skype Taylor would teach Joe how to make the food and they would eat dinner "together"). They skyped for twelve weeks and Joe decided to visit Taylor in San Francisco. Their relationship was magnetic from the get go. They had so much fun together, laughing and having great conversation. They dated long distance for three years traveling back and forth and visiting other states together. Finally Joe decided to have a career change and they moved in together in Burlingame,Ca. After another move to Walnut Creek, Ca and getting settled into a new job and apartment. On their five year anniversary Joe surprised Taylor with a night out on Lake Merritt in Oakland. They were on a Venetian Gondola at Sunset when Joe got on one knee and asked Taylor to marry him.
