Wedding Date on Jun 6, 2019

Once a upon a time… in the wonderful world of the world wide web, Yana and Steven swiped right thanks to an “app” by the name of JFiix! “Our love story began just a few days prior to St. Valentine’s Day messaging and talking all day long. Steven decided to ask me on our first date which happened to be Valentine’s Day (a very gutsy move)! He showed up with flowers in hand, and we shared a lovely sushi (our fav!) dinner where Steven even had a pink girly cocktail to look “cute”. After dinner, we proceeded to a local bar to watch our favorite hockey team in action, the New York Rangers! Throughout the past three and a half years, we’ve shared numerous of laughs, many sushi dinners, and even same thoughts and ideas at the same time. Steven’s love for sports is inevitable every car ride, lounging on the couch or beach trip there’s always sports on the speakers! Oh, the magical wedding day! I’d say from the first look especially seeing tears in his eyes, to the super humid ceremony on the Kukua Punta Cana beach and how I kept thinking that I needed a sip of water and almost reached for the silver cup of wine… hahahaha! Saying “I Do” on the beach, beautiful scenery with close family and friends was what we’ve dreamed of. Surprising my grandmother with “A Jewish Mother” song that had everyone in tears was extremely touching. Dancing the night away with the awesome Hora Loca dancers and our guests was icing on the cake! Can’t wait for our one-year anniversary to actually have a better taste of cake! The bite we had during the wedding was just a tease for our sweet tooth!”
